Kenny Young

Kenny is a Business Honors and Finance junior from The Woodlands, Texas. He is also pursuing a minor in MIS. On campus, he was the Assistant Principle violist for the UT University Orchestra and previously served on leadership for Capital Community, a non-profit organization aimed at raising financial awareness in Austin. This summer Kenny will be working as a Financial Economic Consultant intern for IntegraFEC, a firm dedicated to restoring integrity to the financial system. He also has experience in private equity and marketing for a non-profit performance venue. In the future, Kenny hopes to pursue a career in management consulting and eventually work on the business operations side of a large symphony. In his free time, Kenny enjoys listening to Classical music, collecting vinyl records, and trying new coffee shops at ungodly hours of the night!

Shalaka is a Management Information Systems major from Coppell, Texas. She is also pursuing a Spanish minor. On campus, Shalaka is involved with Texas Spirits, the CMHC peer educator program, and her dance team, UT Nritya Sangam. She hopes to work in media or tech following graduation. Shalaka is a self-proclaimed film enthusiast and her other hobbies include dancing, running, and dining at different Austin restaurants, particularly those with vegan/vegetarian cuisine.
